Working with the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) their mission has always to be a reliable resource for both the local businesses, but growing economic drivers within the community. After consulting with the DDA it was apparent that the new website would need to be able to not only capture audiences, but be a leader in both informational and public relations for events, news, and business and economic development.
Their new website now allows locals, businesses, visitors and more to find information in an efficient and timely manner, prompting larger audiences to Explore Kalkaska.
MichiganBusiness.org offers a range of tools, resources, and information for both domestic and international businesses interested in Michigan. The challenge for the Michigan Economic Development Corporation was creating a platform that actively attracts new business. In collaboration with McCann Erickson – Detroit and a team of developers, I helped build a site that showcases success stories and testimonials through engaging, visually rich experiences, highlighting the tangible results companies can achieve in Michigan.
As a small business operating primarily offline, it was crucial to showcase every aspect of the company online. The website was designed to provide users with multiple layers of information, ensuring a comprehensive and engaging experience. Ongoing site maintenance and performance optimization were also key to its long-term success.
This standalone website for Pure Michigan was dedicated entirely to showcasing winter experiences. Traffic was driven through interactive advertisements on WeatherChannel.com, multiple visitor bureaus, and winter attraction websites.
Complementing the site, the #PureMichiganSnowDay social media campaign was launched to spark online conversations, increase engagement, and connect the brand with local communities.
